It was a pleasure to welcome Ms Agnimitra Paul, Minister of Urban Development and Municipal Affairs, Government of West Bengal, to the Singhania & Co. office for an interaction with leading companies, investors and industry representatives.
The discussions focused on strengthening India–UK business ties, exploring investment opportunities in West Bengal, and fostering cross-border collaboration to support the state’s industrial growth, infrastructure development and employment generation.
It was a privilege to host a celebration of the India–UK Free Trade Agreement at the House of Lords through the Indo-European Business Forum (IEBF), with Chief Guest The Rt Hon Kanishka Narayan MP, Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, alongside Ritu Hinduja Chhabria ji, Prakash Chhabria ji and Pramod Mittal ji.
The evening brought together distinguished parliamentarians, including Baroness Verma and Baroness Winterton of Doncaster DBE, alongside several Lords, prominent business leaders and diplomatic representatives, to celebrate the enduring India–UK partnership and explore opportunities for greater trade and investment.
We also paid tribute to the late Shri G. P. Hinduja ji for his invaluable contribution to strengthening business ties between India, the UK and Europe.

It was a privilege to host a High Tea at the House of Lords in honour of Dr. Mallika Nadda, President of Special Olympics Bharat and Chairperson of the Asia Pacific Advisory Council of Special Olympics Asia Pacific, recognising her outstanding contribution to disability inclusion and the empowerment of persons with intellectual disabilities.
